Yep. Bass as in the guitar or music term, but for some ungodly reason it's pronounced like the fish bass in the English version of Megaman 8. And by a female-sounding Megaman who doesn't sound "mega" or "manly" at all (sounds like a prepubescent kid who got kicked in the stones five times by Zero who happened to be wearing cleats).
Forte is his eastern name (as the character is copyrighted in Japan and wherever you get Mega Man games in Japanese).
Bass is his western name (how the character was copyrighted for Amarican resellers)
just like Treble, his original/japanese name is Gospel, wich makes them "Forte and Gospel" instead of Bass and Treble.
The american names make a lot more sense if you think about it ("bass and treble" are common settings in sound devices), it`s a parody to Mega-Man, originally called Rock-Man (his sis is Roll, all for the simple quote "Rock and Roll"). (cuz of the connection betwen sound, music and rock)
Thanks ^^ so much xD
It's making a huge diference this pen/cell shading thing. Can't get some proportions correct if it's 100% scan, neither if it's 100% in digital painting, this one had a papper sketch for basis. Still long way to go xP
